After years of service, Krista Anderson has retired from her Commonwealth position in criminal justice. She is a Veteran having served 28.5 years in the Army and the PA Army National Guard. She was twice deployed. She has been volunteering in her community since the age of 6 and has no plans to stop doing so.
Pennsylvania State Committee
The Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee (PADSC) acts as the governing body of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, steering party strategy and organizing electoral efforts. It sets the party platform, endorses statewide candidates, and connects local party organizations to support Democrats running for office across the state. In the PA Democratic Party, representation is based on the number of registered Democrats from the last general election, often with a minimum number per county. In York County, we can elect 6 people, so the top three men and three women will be selected.
Democratic State Committee: Vote for 3 women and 3 m
Precinct Committee People
Precinct Committee People provide the connection between the County Party and the registered Democratic voters in their precinct. They provide them with information about the electoral process and encourage those voters to vote for and support Democrats in all elections. In short, the PCPs are the Democratic Party leaders for voters in their precincts, and a vital part of the Democratic effort to ensure we choose the best people to serve us in elected office.
